Virtual Tours

UBC has invested more than $100 million in building new state-of-the-art animal care facilities while upgrading existing ones.

Many of the new and upgraded facilities provide care and housing above and beyond standards currently required by the Canadian Council for Animal Care.

The virtual tours below represent different types of environments in our animal care facilities – training, imaging, surgery and housing. Click on a thumbnail to take the tour, which also includes additional information on how veterinarians and staff care for research animals.
